May 5, 2008, California economic and trade delegation visited Wuhan, bring 46 projects with a total investment of RMB2.6b, involving commercial real estate, medical biotechnology, IT outsourcing, energy, telecommunication and other fields, the vast majority of which were the competitive industries in Wuhan. There were not only large projects of millions of dollars in investment but also 16 projects of league and agency amounted from RMB300,000 to RMB500,000.

The organizer of this trade talk is a Chinese-American, Dr. Li Ming. He said that nearly 100 business cards had finished distribution merely in the morning. Many enterprises in Wuhan did have the strength to participate in international competition, only lacking of experience.
