On November 1, the list of “P. R. China’s Most Potential City for Investment within 60 Years” was announced in Beijing. Changsha and other 45 cities were in the list. The list was decided through several rounds of screening and assessed by Chinese and foreign experts according to 10 indicators, including city’s ecological environment, urban management level, public awareness, etc.

The potential of Changsha benefits from the 5 “washes”, i.e. the policy wash, the industrial wash, the financial wash, the service wash and the profit wash. Changsha has the fewer limits for access and the higher efficiency of services.
