First “Solar Power” System of Central China Operates in Wuhan

On February 3, the 100KW solar photovoltaic power system established by Dongfeng Honda Corporation through independent contribution was officially put into operation, which is central China’s first solar photovoltaic grid-connected generating system that is officially operating and consists of 864 solar panels, covering an area of 846.7 square meters, mainly offering electricity to multiuse office buildings for daily illumination use, operating connected with the municipal grid, with the annual generating capacity of roughly 100,000 KW, equivalent to cutting roughly 101 tons’ carbon dioxide emission and reducing 1.01 million square meters’ deforestation.
