Anhui to Invest RMB52b in Infrastructures with Most Investment in the Railway

It was known by the reporter from the Development and Reform Commission of Anhui Province that the provincial investment in the infrastructures this year will amount to RMB52b, among which RMB30b will be used in the construction of the railway, which has been a keyword of the province in this year’s infrastructures.
This year, the province will complete the modification work of Hefei railway station and speed up the construction of 11 railway projects of Anhui section of Beijing-Shanghai Express Railway, Ning’an Inter-City Railway and the railway transportation special line from Hefei to Fuzhou and Bengbu. Under the conditions qualified for starting construction, the province will this year successively launch 7 railway projects including the construction of Anhui-Jiangxi Railway and expanding capability and reform of the sections of Shangqiu to Hefei to Hangzhou, Huangshan to Hangzhou, Zhengzhou to Xuzhou, most of which pass by Hefei, so the city will be an important railway hub.
